Los Angeles based producer and composer zenxienz has arrived with an intriguing collision of frequencies on his latest opus, Mind Sigh.
You might remember our previous interview with this talented artist. Find that here.
Mind Sigh is a jazz influenced experimentation through psychedelic and electronic frequencies that collide in a way which seem to mimic the rapid and unstoppable digitization of the human experience.
Each composition builds upon the previous as we are guided through an unpredictable array of stimulating and aurally intense layers, textures and noises from what feels like another dimension.
Mind Sigh is an exciting piece of sonic art.
zenxienz‘s own struggle with depression has led him down a noble and respectable path assisting and empowering others who also deal with mental health issues.
Cameron (aka zenxienz) now works to spread awareness and hope for those suffering from mental illness and advocates for a positive shift in the current atmosphere surrounding psychedelics and psychedelic therapy to provide more options to those in need. In the hope of providing both entertainment and education on the topic, Cameron’s live shows are a perfect potpourri of visuals, music, and message. Cameron works to turn the mirror on society with his captivating instrumentals and animations, all while inspiring, and promoting change and connection with other human beings. One can expect to leave Cameron’s performances with the feeling of finally coming home, with an open heart, mind, and soul.
Mind Sigh is an audio novel depicting exploration through consciousness from all angles; including the darkest and lightest sides of the spectrum.
The lead single, On Fire, is now streaming on Soundcloud.
You can experience Mind Sigh in full on Spotify or Bandcamp.
