New York based Track Seven Band steps outside the traditional realm of Hip Hop by opting out of sampling and programming in exchange for a fusion of creative musicianship and the lyrically strong impact of lead man Cost.

Their newest project The Try and The Fail EP is a refreshing, engaging, and excellent arrangement of masterfully crafted songs solidly founded in Hip Hop but reaching well beyond the traditional sounds of the genre.

Cost rides the instrumentation with a smooth but strong lyrical presence sharing stories of struggle, oppression, and finding the hope to continue pushing on and rising above.
