Shraya Sharma Fly Me Baby
Though Shraya Sharma often serenaded her family with “My Heart Will Go On” as a ’90s five-year-old, she never imagined that she’d one day try her hand at singing or songwriting. Hopping from state to state throughout her childhood, Shraya found a constancy and home in music. Whether she was playing a melody on the piano, plucking away at her violin or listening to Toto’s “Africa” endlessly on repeat, she embraced music as her best friend.
In 2016, Shraya released her self-written debut album Dreaming Blind, which she recorded and mastered by herself. Dreaming Blind, filled with soft acoustic melodies and hope-laced lyrics, shows Shraya in a vulnerable light as she openly sings about a simple, yet beautifully intricate feeling: falling in love.
Dreaming Blind promises soft-tone acoustic melodies, wispy dulcet vocals and a hope-laced honesty about love that’s sure to leave you wanting more. From the outset, Sharma embraces vulnerability as her companion as she openly sings about falling in love.
