Kansas City, Kansas native Todd Warner Moore has been building an eclectic catalog of songs during his years as a musician, songwriter and creative.
During the 90s, Todd co-wrote and toured with Acoustic Juice gracing stages throughout the American Midwest. Later on he found himself in Budapest performing solo in tea houses. Hungary is where his expat band, Tea Thieves, formed. They released three albums before Todd left the country. He now resides on Lamma Island in Hong Kong playing festivals and pubs as he continues to write, record and release music.
His latest album (and his second full-length of 2018), Spark, is now available and is packed with track after track of deeply emotive, highly passionate, acoustic-driven, pristinely produced, lush folk-pop soundscapes which thoroughly stimulate the senses and will keep listeners engaged for the entirety of the album.
Sonically, this album is amazing. The mixes are larger than life, each element can be clearly distinguished while still melding into a cohesive wall of sound that hits with an emotional force so strong you have no choice but to stop and absorb the frequencies as they grab you.
With his plethora of experience in music creation and performance, it’s safe to say Todd knows how to deliver sonic goods that please audiences from the Midwest of the U.S. all the way to the lands of Asia. His distinctive blend of Folk and Americana comes packed with enough pop appeal to touch people all over the world.
In his words,
Spark is, both lyrically and musically, a celebration of the canon of magnificent music and sublime songwriting I have heard over the years. I have painstakingly sculpted these songs with exceptionally talented and intuitive musicians, creating an album that follows its own self-contained universe of tales, confessional tones, and ebullience. I feel that it is the album I have always been striving to create.
