Long Island alternative rock band The Serotones are about to embark on their summer 2015 tour, a two-week trek that will hit clubs throughout the East Coast and Midwest. The band is renowned for goosebump-inducing melodies backed by prog-fueled rhythms, a combination that has built them a strong following in Long Island and New York City. The Serotones are ready to take the next step, and expand their fan base in new cities far from home. The tour is set to kick off on July 20th with a show at the resurrected New Jersey rock institution, Maxwell’s Tavern.
The Serotones will be promoting songs from their self-titled EP, released in November of 2014. The band had the DIY initiative to support the release of their EP with a self-financed radio campaign. The lead single “Silver” charted in the top 30 at over 18 college & non-comm stations across the US & Canada, including 4 weeks at No. 1 at CSCR in Toronto. The band further promoted the song with a music video rich in noir imagery.

The Serotones have come a long way since they began three years ago as a teenage collaboration between vocalist/guitarist Kevin Eiserman and drummer Jared Gabrielli. They’ve since added bassist Matt Cusano, lead guitarist James Humphreys, and vocalist/keyboardist April Gabrielli, creating an ensemble sound with crackling chemistry and chops to burn. Kevin and April’s fiery interplay makes them the most exciting vocal duo of any young rock band in recent memory. Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter) produced the band’s debut EP, and The Serotones have played Northeast festivals alongside Taking Back Sunday and Circa Survive.
