Alan B. Salisbury has a simple message:
“My message is if you believe in yourself, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish.”
Dr. Alan Salisbury had an illustrious 30 year career in the military. During that time he pioneered the use of computers on the battlefield and earned the rank of Major General. He followed his military life with a career filling executives roles in the IT field.
After finding himself in a safe position financially, he began building Opus One Studios with the mission of giving back.
He founded the Code of Support Foundation which is dedicated to supporting troops, vets, military families, and serves to motivate American civilians to serve in their own way to keep this nation strong.
Opus One Studios is structured to benefit Dr. Salisbury’s favorite charities.
Centered around the Opus One Studios brand, he’s offering a variety of socially conscious creative products whose earnings will go to support select beneficiary causes.
The announcement of the Opus One brand comes with the release of his new children’s book, The Legend of Ranger: The Reindeer Who Couldn’t Fly and its companion song “Dream and Believe” which was composed by Salisbury.
All profits go to support the Antonia J. Giallourakis Endowed Fund in Art Therapy for Children with Cancer at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
The tale of Rudolph’s brother, Ranger, and his quest to fly is targeted toward children ages 4 through 9 and is a fable-like tale filled with excitement, drama, and an exhilarating conclusion.
The song, “Dream and Believe”, was recorded in Nashville and features a quartet from the Nashville Symphony as well as the amazing voice of Mary Allen.
“I would say the ideals in the book and song evolved from my early leadership roles and experiences,” Salisbury explains.
