The Goldroom closed out the night on the outside stage at Two Purple Pigs and man…if you weren’t there, You Missed Out.
There is plenty of footage below for you to get a taste of the experience, but it will not compare to actually being there. When Jedi Bret finally made it over to the Pig, the Goldroom had been playing for a few minutes…Bret said, “who is that?!”
Knowing Bret’s relationship with the band, I smiled and told him, “That’s THE Goldroom.”
“WOW…that’s not what I expected to hear…I’ve got to go see this!” was his reply. Then he ran outside.
I wish I had captured their finale but I was too busy being overwhelmed by their wall of sound….and a nice cold one 😉
