Hamid Sami is an Iran based singer, songwriter, composer and also the founder of experimental, psychedelic, electro indie rock collective Telecraze (founded in 2010).
Battling setbacks, dodging obstacles, and navigating through various line-up changes, Telecraze has been working on a full length album since 2014. As a precursor, the collective released the Knockout Mice EP to give listeners a taste of what is to come.
Blending together elements of acoustic-infused folk rock, psychedelic electro sounds, and an experimental approach to composition, Telecraze is creating truly unique music. With so many sounds and influences, Knockout Mice EP is a refreshing treat for listeners who enjoy somber, acoustic fueled psychedelic rock vibes.
From the opening Brand New Sky on down the playlist through Felt To Slip, Satelighter and the closing Come On Let’s Run, Telecraze displays an amazing ability to gather elements from various genres and styles of music to compose compelling, intriguing, ambient soundscapes.
I really dig it!
