Inspired by the days when jazz began fusing with classic rock, Seattle based Sundogs have delivered a jammin’ new video album titled Legends In Their Own Minds.
Formed by veteran musicians Stan Snow (vox, guitar) and Jed Moffitt (vox, keyboard), Sundogs features highly talented session musicians hand selected by the duo to create some familiar yet refreshing rock and roll, jazz-infused jams.
For fans and enthusiasts of the sounds that came from well known talents such as Tom Petty, Steely Dan, Rolling Stones, Pete Townshend, Paul Simon or Mark Knopfler, Sundogs have exactly what you need and what you’ve been missing in your music collection all these years.
Honing their writing, production and musicianship skills growing up in Fremont, California, Sundogs absorbed everything from Miles Davis to Led Zeppelin to Bob Marley to Steely Dan to The Who and everything in between. The band’s ultimate goal is to satisfy their inner music fan. In their words,
If it sounds good to us and it’s something that we like listening to over and over, that is the driving force in how we write, arrange, produce and record. We are doing it for the pure joy of it”.

Legends In Their Own Minds is the group’s second album and is supported by Magellan Creek Studios where the crew set up green screens to create the video album. The green screen allowed them to integrate CGI post-production for a truly immersive audio-visual experience.
For me, there is not one song that I recommend over any of the others. Legends In Their Own Minds is best enjoyed from front to back in one sitting…or while driving. This is definitely some windows down, wind in your hair without a care, stereo loud as possible, driving music!
