With twenty five years of international performance experience under her belt, Suki Rae (singer/songwriter/flutist) knows a little about the power of music to connect with audiences, its power to lift spirits, and its ability to connect people.
Her two decades of experience come with a long list of acquired accolades and accomplishments. Suki Rae has been a musician in residence in various locations that include Spain and Israel, she has been featured on radio and TV, she has acted, written and directed in theater and film and she has won many awards. She was even featured in the documentary Dig Your Soul On The Streets which also featured well known rockers Oasis.
Through her label, Reverence for Life Records, she has released seven albums; six of those with original music. Her newest album, Can’t Stop Now, is now available and features the Company or her team of highly talented musicians including: Steve Bloom on guitar, Kennan Keating also on guitar, KJ Jacobs on bass, Barry Kornhauser on cello, Andrey Golodukhin banging the drums, Chris Howard with the percussion, Ayana Lowe, Andru Cann, Sumati Bates, Benita Charles, Greg Cross all contribute vocal performances and last, but never ever least, Suki Rae on flute, keyboards, vocals and primary songwriter.
Founded in the long standing tradition of gospel but blending an array of sounds from gritty blues to soulful pop to a little funkiness and a soft rock edge, Can’t Stop Now is an excellent record for those who appreciate more mature, more musical, more refined, more classic sounding music genres.
