I might be in Sacramento, CA but guess who was kicking major music ass last night at High Watt in Nashville…or so I heard?
Steve ‘n’ Seagulls is a Finnish bluegrass band who specializes in hard rock and metal covers. Oh yes, indeed!
Now this isn’t my typical new indie music discovery story. Usually something awesomesauce like this comes to my inbox from the band or their PR firm with some of type of pitch and request for review or feature…but not today folks.

Today I woke up to a series of photos and some text messages…
My brother, who isn’t known for going out to many live shows, said he saw this band from across the Big Pond at High Watt in Nashville last night and they rocked out with a room full of rowdy, energetic Middle Tennesseans.
Of course, I’m like… “I have to go look these guys up.” And I did.
When I realized they were from Finland and did bluegrass covers of metal tunes; I was in love before even hearing the music but be sure you jam out to the videos I am sharing in this article.
This will inject life into your day and add some bounce to your step.
