J.J. Crowne is somewhat of a big deal.

He’s back with his newest album, J.J. Crowne.
After attending Oberlin Music Conservatory, this singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist started his music career as a composer, performer, and producer of theatrical music, radio jingles, as well as TV cues and themes for networks such as Fox, PBS, and Univision.
During the early ’90s in his hometown of Miami, J.J. used to open regularly for The Mavericks.
His debut album “Songs of Innocence and Experience” was named 2011 Indie CD of the Year by Indie Music Digest.
Mr. Crowne’s next step was to team up with producer Stephen Wrench and Nashville mixing/mastering engineer Jeff Silverman. Between the two they have worked with acts such as Vince Gill, Hank, Jr., Rick Springfield, Prince, and Missing Persons.
As of June 2013, over 1000 land, internet, satellite and syndicated radio stations worldwide were airing songs from the EP. The title track became the #2 listener-voted song on www.worldtalentsradio.com out of 300 songs, and stayed in the Top Ten for almost 3 months.

Crafting songs in the spirit of classic pop, rock, and folk acts, J.J.’s music is reminiscent of everything from The Beatles to James Taylor to Simon & Garfunkel.
