Vancouver based rockers Sleep Science have arrived with an energetic sonic assault for our senses titled Sounds Of The Underground.
Excellent guitar tones transition from distorted walls of sound to soul infused melodic dances as the driving rhythms and soaring vocal performance put on display the band’s ability to rock hard while maintaining a healthy dose of pop appeal. Pop appeal in the sense that this song easily attracts a wide range of listeners beyond the obvious world of harder edged rock.
Sounds of the Underground is infectious, engaging and deserving of repeat listens as well as playlist additions.
The band has been building momentum and this latest release keeps them on track for continued growth and success. Their song Tears For The Money was featured on radio stations across Canada receiving multiple spins at several of those stations. The band was featured on Alan Cross’ Top 11 of the Week and have recorded in Los Angeles while working with Rick Parker (Dandy Warholes, Black Rebel Motorcyle Club).
