Country traditionalist, Shane Owens, has grabbed the attention of viewers around the world with the release of his new video, “Where I’m Comin’ From.” After its broadcast premiere this week on the Heartland Network and online debut on The Boot, fans of traditional Country music have reacted with overwhelming support for the Alabama native.
“Where I’m Comin’ From” was directed by famed videographer, Jim Shea, who has received multiple awards and nominations for his work with Country superstars, Alan Jackson, Faith Hill and Brad Paisley, among many others. In the video, Shea captures the essence of everyday life in small town America; From the opening scenes of rural landscapes, a warm cup of morning coffee being served at the local diner and cheerleaders prepping for the homecoming football game, Owens welcomes the viewer into the rural Alabama locales of his upbringing and the bedrock American values instilled in him as a youth.
Of course, when you have the support and guidance of Country music icon, Randy Travis as your Executive Producer and legendary record producer, James Stroud, who has crafted mega-hits by Chris Young and Clint Black working together in the recording studio with Owens‘ burnished baritone voice, you have all the ingredients of Country music magic from which to create a visual feast.
