From a small town in Amsterdam, Saycille dedicated her life to working at various jobs. At the age of 52, it was the loss of her job as a home healthcare worker that eventually led her into the position of singer and songwriter. While volunteering at Tijd voor Meedoen (TvM) community centre, she started a weekly meeting for people who needed to mingle and connect with their peers. This supportive community she joined the TvM band as a singer but, at the time, she played no instruments.
While learning the processes of playing, producing and writing songs, Saycille soon began her journey as a music artist. Her single Wish is a delightful, joyous and uplifting song which teases at the February 2018 release of her album, Heartbeat.
With an easily memorable melody, a catchy vocal performance and excellent musicianship, Wish is guaranteed to lift your spirits and bring a smile to your face.
Contributing their talents to this project is Dave van Beek Bass on drums, Xander Buvelot on bass, Frank Stukker on guitar, and Petra Lugtenburg on grand piano. Richard Poot and Lugtenburg served as producers on this project.
