Sam Weber is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in the vein of Jackson Browne, The Band, The Wood Brothers and Gillian Welch. Having collaborated with Grammy winners, and with extensive international tours under his belt, the Canadian-born Los Angeleno goes forth with the intention and mantra: “Music is an emotional conduit between people and allows us the opportunity to share moments of truth and unity.”
That sentiment guided the creation of his new EP (out May 5), Ain’t Life Grand, which encouraged him to celebrate the joy of making music. Born from a stream of consciousness, the syncopated single “Easy St” speaks to the cliché of a simple life. Improvising where possible, and trusting his internal rhythm above all else, he takes a “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” approach to adversity with this track.
