NYC acoustic/electronic singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sam Levin was just 5 years old when he pointed to a Fender Mini-Strat hanging from the guitar shop wall and declared to the world his path would be one filled with music.
Now at 15 years old, Sam has delivered his newest project and the follow-up to his debut EP titled Frame of Mind.
Frame of Mind, is really about the last year and a half of my life,” according to Sam. “It’s not a good thing or a bad thing, it’s just what happened.”
Sam is probably one of the most talented 15 year old song crafters and musicians I have yet to discover during my years writing about indie music.

With a contagious, upbeat personality, smooth and soulful sonic sound beds, and some really infectious songwriting, Sam’s trajectory toward the stratosphere is only going to continue gaining momentum.
From first taking the stage at age 7 to performing 1-2 hour long shows at coffee houses to community and arts festival appearances and even a one week open mic tour of London, Sam Levin is well on his way to turning a youthful and budding career into something that will sustain and carry him for the long term.
