Las Vegas singer, rapper and bad ass rocker Rockie Brown has arrived with an engaging, powerful new single (and music video) titled Hero.
With a stellar 2019 so far, Rockie has landed major sync deals with: E!TV’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Total Divas, Total Bellas, A&E’s Born This Way, MTV’s The Real World, Lohan Beach Club, TLC’s The Healer, USA Network’s Miz & Mrs., OWN Network’s Family or Fiancé as well as Discovery, TLC and NASCAR international. Her latest single, and the topic of this article, has been approved for a NPR Tiny Desk Concert. Her previous single, Get Gone, was featured by MixMag.
With formal training in professional theater as well as Opera, Rock and Hip Hop vocal styles, Rockie brings a distinct yet much welcomed twist to her songwriting and performances.
Off her latest EP, Mad World, Hero is a powerful song with a passionate vocal performance. This isn’t meant to downplay the song’s high caliber musicianship or the pristine production quality of the track but the vocals definitely steal the show.
Rockie’s voice resonates the soul as she unleashes a sonic force not often experienced when listening to your average, female-led, rock release.
I encourage you to spend your time and attention on Rockie Brown and her music. You won’t be disappointed.
