Richard Lynch is back (once again) to grace us with another great song and music video to satisfy our traditional country fix as well as allow us to reminiscence on the good ole days.
If you know about the simple life, you know how important The Old Feed Store is to every rural, farming community.
As a youngster, I spent plenty of time around the feed store in Hillsboro, Tennessee. The owner was my Sunday School teacher when I was 11. Our youth group would set-up our live nativity scene each year in the feed store lot. The Old Feed Store is to the rural, farming communities what the barber shops and corner pubs became for urban dwellers.
In his latest radio ready single, Richard Lynch takes our minds back to simpler times. While his band performs for a packed crowd dancing away in The Old Feed Store, the video guides us through beautiful landscapes and rural living imagery which is guaranteed to make anyone feel nostalgic (and possibly shed a tear).
I suddenly miss home and am being overwhelmed with memories from my youth… That’s what great songs (and equally great videos) should do.
