San Francisco based psych-rock collective Revolushn have delivered a sonically unique but engaging album titled Further.
Further listens like a sonic novel of epic proportions guiding us through a wall of sound characterized by it’s psychedelic sensations, hard rockin’ sound beds, unique combinations of sounds, and a relentless creative spirit that attacks song crafting with a no holds barred approach.
From the moment the album kicks off until the very end listeners will find themselves in a state of non-stop stimulation guided by a rhythm section (drums by Dekay) that reminds me of John Bonham, bass (by Guinevere Q) that locks into the grooves and accents the sonic punch, textures and piano accents provided by Schubert O, and the unforgettable wall of sound created by the guitars of Young Sun and NO.
Melodic potency, aptly placed harmonies, and an impenetrable tapestry of high energy delivery collide on Further to give us an unforgettable and refreshing rock and roll record.
