Chicago based experimental rock band Reditus is getting ready to release their new album, The Lost Ones, but we have an advance copy and this is very impressive work.

If Trent Reznor and Billy Corgan were to lock themselves in the studio for a few months with the intent of experimenting with alt-rock, post-punk, and industrial grit… Reditus would most likely be the result.
The Lost Ones is a journey through pop-sensible but completely experimental, alternative, hard rockin’ arrangements.
I dare you to listen “Do You Know Who You Are?” and try to walk away not repeating the hook in your head.
Or listen to “The Ugly Truth” and try not to feel the impact of the lead vocals and the emotional tug of war occurring between sections of the song that go from in-your-face presence one minute all the way to mellow, melodic phrasing the next.
In other words, Reditus is a refreshing rock force to tango with. Attention to the finest details, clarity in the production, and masterful song crafting have left me listening to The Lost Ones on volume 13 for a couple of weeks now.
It’s time I share this awesomeness with you. The full album includes 16 tracks however, you can stream select singles here.
