We got a really interesting request from a cat in Stockholm. Razvan Stroi sent over nothing but a ReverbNation page with some songs and no bio on it. A short conversation later, we had a bio!
In 2013 I started again producing electronic music, having a few other attempts in the previous years (2000, 2011 and 2012). Currently this is just a hobby, I’m doing this in my free time and I love the way it feels when my mind is translated into music appreciated by other people.
I’ve been always a fan of many different music styles like electronic, hip-hop, classical, rock, etc, but if I would need to mention one band that has influenced my eagerness to create electronic music it would definitely be The Prodigy.
I hope you will enjoy my music and I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.
Stay tuned… more music is coming… http://www.reverbnation.com/razvanstroie
Razvan said he wanted to just focus on the music and let it speak.
I gave all the tracks a few listens, and try as I might, I just can’t get into it. There are some redeeming factors like crazy sounds and some decent breaks, but to be honest all the tracks sound half-finished – and that is hard to do in the modern world of “it sounds like a million bucks right out of the box” software recording.
The lead off song, “Endless” is actually rather nice, a good song well put together with a great vocal.
The other four tracks, sadly let me down. On the bright side, I could hear some lyrics and hiphop style vocals fitting rather nicely, and perhaps making some dope tunes.
I’m not used to having to review [what I consider] incomplete projects, so hopefully my comments can be taken as constructive criticism.
There are good points here, but nothing about the project seems finished, thus that’s all I really have to say.
