We recently had the opportunity to interview Persian-American singer Shakila and now we would like to share her single “Only You”.

“Only You” captures your attention the moment you click play. An enchanting arrangement of instruments sets the mood, as the drums kick in Shakila’s mature and powerful voice begins working it’s magic.

Inspired by the poetry of Rumi, Shakila has a unique ability to transform Rumi’s words into well crafted songs which appeal to music listeners across the globe.

Shakila’s career began at the tender age of 9 when she was invited to perform on television. The producers of the show encouraged her to develop into a fully fledged artist. Not against becoming a star, Shakila insisted on remaining focused on education but shared her talents through talent shows and competitions.

Now with 20 Persian albums released and a Persian International Artist Award, we don’t see Shakila slowing down anytime soon.
