Australian indie pop creative Olga Solar has received airtime on Triple J, screen time on MTV as well as placement in Apple Music’s Best of the Week and The A List: New Artists playlists.
Having paid her dues as a violinist in pit orchestras, scoring short films and writing for musical theater, Olga Solar takes her creativity in a charming and refreshing new direction with the release of her latest project, Antilullaby.
Remember the MTV screen time mentioned previously? Olga’s video for Tingle Fingers, which I am sharing with you today, is the clip that received the screen time.
With an artistic boldness that maintains a comforting level of intimacy, Tingle Fingers greets us with an enchanting melody lifting the daily weights that hold us down while raising our spirits and causing us to float freely like feathers dancing in a gentle breeze.
It’s light. It’s nice. It brings a smile to my face. Not to mention the melody will be stuck in your head; I don’t think you can avoid it.
Tapping into her approach to songwriting, the below excerpt from her bio says it best,
Olga Solar’s songs are anthems for the introverts, pep talks for the little guys and odes to the unsung. Her new musical voice is beaming with expressive confidence, and she’s just getting started.”
