New Zealand native, Canadian resident singer/songwriter Niki Kennedy has delivered an enchanting blend of pop, rock and jazz elements on her new 5-song EP titled The Weather Up Here. The project dropped on November 9th!

Melodically rich, harmonically pleasing and musically engaging, The Weather Up Here displays Niki’s strong vocals over sonic foundations that seep into your senses and add layers of emotive frequencies that allow Niki’s voice to be the centerpiece.

No stranger to performance, Kennedy has played roles in theatrical productions including Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, the title role in The Pied Piper, Cyndi Lauper in A Very 80’s Alice, Dodo in Absolute Alice, and Lady Nijo/Nell in Top Girls…just to name a few. Her presence on the microphone is definitely influenced by her acting experiences.
