Now available via Back In The Woods Records, Five Years Old is the latest single from UK based electro-folk artist Night House. The new tune is off the forthcoming album Everyone Is Watching From Afar.
Featuring some of Brighton’s top musical talent, Nick Williams worked with a powerful team of musicians including: Alfie Weedon on double bass, Amy Squirrell on cello, Andrew Stuart Buttle on violin, Freya Bowes on clarinet, Juan Toran on electric guitar and, last but never least, James Purvice banging on the drums.
This orchestral infused, electronic laced, enchanting folk jam makes the listener feel like light as a feather; floating in the breeze as Nick Williams charming and falsetto vocals share a bittersweet look into childhood summers and lost family life. Lush strings, comforting winds, rolling rhythms and beautiful harmonies collide for lovely sounding jam.
Night House has supported acts such as Ben Howard, Willy Mason and the Magic Numbers while garnering support from taste makers like Clash Magazine, PRS for Music, The Vinyl District and Come Here Floyd.
