Sovay is the newest release from folk-jazz-r&b-fusion outfit Nessa. The single is off the forthcoming project Otherworld.

Sovay is a smooth sailing, melodically rich, English folk, Celtic-infused, jazz-fusion, storytelling song which aptly fits into the overarching theme of female empowerment that 50% of the tracks on the album are about in one aspect or another.

Sovay tells the tale of a lead female who dresses as a male to put her fiancé to an unexpected test. That test involved robbing him at gun point, dressed as a man, to see how easily he will…or will not…hand over his diamond ring.
