This is real music written by real people for those living a real life.
The concept of Morrow’s Memory is simple, the future will inevitably become the past.
One minute it’s in-your-face headbanging aggression and the next you find yourself floating on a melody as gentle as the clouds. As soon as you get comfortable the bottom drops out and blazing guitars launch you back into a whirlwind of passionate rhythms.
I am loving the piano on “Moving Forward” and not a track goes by I don’t find myself drooling over the guitar tones. Imagine 1) Tool a little less introverted, 2) Korn – better dressed, 3) a more mature Linkin Park, and 4) everything you love about rock guitar…imagine that and you are one step closer to discovering Morrow’s Memory.
Their story starts when Zach Novak (drums) and Joe Wolford (lead guitar) decided it was time to fill a musical void. After six months of auditions and meeting with local (Detroit) talent, Morrow’s Memory finally found their ideal line-up. Now including: Tony Fitchett (Lead Vocals), Brian Sasanas (Vocals and Guitar), Scott Sarnia (Bass), and Mike Fritz (Keyboard), the band begins Moving Forward.
While searching for other members, the guys did not hesitate to begin writing and arranging songs. Each new member added their element to the band’s sound and before long Morrow’s Memory had developed into an audible force all its own. This is hard rock music at its finest, and with hints of progressive and alternative thrown in the mix, nothing is stopping these guys from taking over radio.
The next thing I would expect is to see them pop up in a city near you.
