M.C. Pollock is a R&B, soulful, dance, pop extravaganza that will have all the dudes bustin’ moves and the ladies hittin’ those grooves.
Swank Series is a tribute to mixing live and electronic muses which also happens to be one of the main characteristics of Pollock’s sound. He formed his band in 2011 in order to move his music forward. Beyond the musicianship, Pollock is a showman that creates a dynamic presence leaving audiences no choice but to be pulled in by his charming vocals.
I hear similarities to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, but Pollock’s songs stand on their own with his on Swanky twist.
The ladies will love this guy.
Pollock has been singing since the age of 5 and was fortunate enough to receive a strong foundation in vocalization, instrumentation, and composition. In other words, his skills are dope. His composition and songwriting skills are definitely on another level.
To Pollock, music is a language of communion and he thoroughly enjoys the language. He combines his experiences in childhood choir with his Afro-Brazilian percussion apprenticeship in Bahia, Brazil to push the boundaries on his own abilities and what is possible with music.
