Abir and Daniel Lillman decided it was time for something new.
After years of working with other projects, 2012 inspired them to create the goth rock opera known as Madness of the Night.
A few months into the creative process the Swedish rockers released their single ‘We Are Gothrockers and We Don’t Care’ which became song of the day on national radio P4. The band was then featured on ReverbNation and currently hold the #1 spot for alternative in Västerås, SE.

Madness of the Night is the voice of the voiceless. They are the ones bringing peace through music to those performing in this madness known as the ‘Theatre of Life’.
We love people, and make music for bringing out a message of tolerance and diversity. Most of our songs are for house maids, the poor man, against politicians and goverments, antiracism, oppression, discrimination, women, NWO, gender equality.
We stand for our beliefs. Music is our religion and culture nothing else.
No matter which language Abir sings, you can feel the raw power of their message. Daniel’s production, composition, and arrangement skills are no joke either. Together they form a powerful duo.
As Madness of the Night, they have released one MCD – Voices of the People and are currently working on a new album to be released under Massacre Records in 2013.

Additional history: Between 1993 and 2000, Daniel was part of the Swedish gothband Soulgrinder. Abir was their promoter but she is also a musician and songwriter so eventually the two created a project known as Erotic Chant. This was previous to Madness of the Night.
