If you haven’t figured it out by now, we’re supporters of Leah Capelle who is back with yet another potent alt-rockin’ single which explores and overcomes materialist founded insecurities. The title is Docs.
In Leah’s words,
In reality, all my false attempts at being “okay” made the matter worse. When I was younger, I had many male figures, whether significant others or mentors, tell me that “men don’t like short hair.” So I kept my hair long because I was insecure. And finally, summer of 2016 I said “fuck it” and chopped it all off- that was a huge catalyst for me, and has actually brought me a lot of happiness in the weightlessness I feel now.”
Attacking the issue with an uplifting sound bed featuring a catchy guitar riff, beautifully toned guitar accents, hard hitting drums that lock in the groove, and a powerful performance from Capelle.
I think we can all relate fairly deeply with the content of this honest, penetrating look within ourselves. Unless you’ve been living on a completely different planet or in a dimension where you don’t need material things, you’re going to resonate with the substance inside this song.
Docs is streaming on YouTube.
