K-Syran is a busy woman.
Not only is her new album Smoke In My Veins an epic and intense contribution to the Pop / Electro-Pop genre, K-Syran is also an actress, director, producer, and human rights activist.
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, K-Syran has performed with various ensembles during her career but Smoke In My Veins is an enchanting, electro-infused, solo display of K-Syran’s refined creative abilities.
Meshing elements of dance, house, and electro-pop, K-Syran delivers a sonic wall of sound packed with catchy lyrical phrasings, memorable melodies, and grooves that will leave you no choice but to get out of your seat and bust a move.
Smoke In My Veins is the perfect soundtrack for spontaneous dance parties, lifting up your spirits when they need a boost, or pumping you full of adrenaline when your energy level needs a pick me up.
Balancing life as an artist, an activist, and a playwright, K-Syran found herself in New York presenting her play (co-created with Suzan Craig) Breaking the Silence: Monologues on Gender, Voice and Violence. She presented this play at the United Nations as part of a lecture series on Women, Peace and Security.
The play was chosen as the Best Play at the London Summit To End Sexual Violence In Conflict (an event organized by Angelina Jolie and William Hague).
You can also see K-Syran in the short film Don’t Miss The Cup and also on the UK TV series Head.
