Atlanta native Katie Belle began her performance career around the age of 9. She won a talent competition at 12. That win landed her in Nashville for one week of songwriting and recording with award winning artist Jamie O’Neal. You can safely assume she hasn’t stopped making music since.
A powerful vocalist and keyboard player, Katie works with a team of musician friends who are helping bring her newest songs to life. Since September 2018, she has released a series of singles including Down For You, WAS, Grenade (Bruno Mars Cover) and Sunflower (Post Malone Cover).
Today we’re spotlighting her latest (and possibly greatest yet), Out Tonight. A song about her friends and the support system they provide, particularly during boyfriend drama, Out Tonight is infectious. It is ready for radio. And it’s primed for sharing and adding to your favorite playlists. Especially if you dig your pop with a more modern, electro aesthetic.
Out Tonight is an appropriate anthem for a night out on the town with friends while letting out all that steam, all that stress, and all the bullshit weighing you down.
About the song, Katie says,
When I was in the studio early fall, the song came spilling out! I had some of the lyrics already written but when my producer got the guitar riff going, we wrote the song in a couple of hours. Once the track was built we did some refining , added a lot of harmonies and I love the personality the guitar brings to the song.”
