Despite Warm Whiskey Nights being his full-length solo debut, Justin Ryan is not new to the music world.
Growing up around music and picking up the guitar at 12, it was in 2001 when Justin’s first four-piece band was formed. Once they signed a management deal, the band toured the east coast and then were presented with a unique opportunity to travel the world performing as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) tour.
With that said, a few of Justin’s most notable performances include sharing stages with Better Than Ezra, Scott Wieland (of Stone Temple Pilots), Third Eye Blind, and Ed Kowalcyk (Lead Singer of Live).
If none of those impressive accolades impress you, Justin is also a member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) where 10 of his songs have made NSAI’s Ones To Watch list.
Justin’s frequent trips to Nashville have landed his songs in the hands of multiple creative licensing directors, online music libraries, and to artists such as the legendary Rascal Flatts.
Now that I’ve got all this out of the way, there’s really no reason why I need to go into a detailed breakdown of how awesome Justin is at writing songs. Or how well produced each of the 12 songs on his solo debut are and how each of them could stand on their own as a solid single.
Justin Ryan isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Now that he’s gone solo and presented the world with a record that’s pure Justin, I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing this name a lot more.
