Melbourne, Australia soul-pop singer/songwriter Jude Scofield has arrived with his latest single and visual treatment for Don’t Let Me Die Alone.
Jude’s interest in music initially developed around the age of 6 when his father gifted him a guitar for his birthday. By the time he hit high school, he had formed his own band performing at school concerts, open mic nights and around the Melbourne region. Immediately after high school, Jude began supporting himself with his music; gigging and working in professional settings to make ends meet. Working as a solo artist and working with wedding bands, Scofield was able flex his chops as a performer and sound engineer. Soon, Jude was also learning piano and learning how to play the role of producer.
Don’t Let Me Die Alone is a song fueled by heartbreak. Putting his piano skills on full display, we are treated to a soothing plea, “baby, please don’t let me die alone”, as Scofield croons and touches listeners with his soulful, smooth, comforting baritone vocals.
The visual treatment brings the song’s powerful emotions to life as we watch Jude perform by the sea while actors present us with the story of a couple on the verge of parting ways as the ebb and flow of their feelings make moving forward difficult.
