Along The Way: The Journey Begins is a blend of genres that puts Journeyman‘s song crafting and composition abilities on full display. The album and it’s array of pleasing sounds is influenced by (and serves as an appropriate soundtrack for) the 500 mile pilgrimage known as “The Way” (El Camino de Santiago in Spain).

The talented line-up of artists that contributed to this project include: Maya Sh’Von – R&B American vocalist, Kyle Guerrero – Leading LA Rock Singer-Songwriter, Jean-luc Kaberuka – R&B, Soul and Afro vocalist, Gilli Moon – Australian artist/songwriter and ‘Indie Icon’, Jeff Walker – celebrity spoken-word poet, Jay Townsend – vocalist extraordinaire, Che Barq – unique singer, and Brazilian guitarist, Marco Tulio Pinheiro. Celebrated music producer P. Washington, and mixing engineer, Matt Thorne  (Eels, Trapt, Rapt) made sure the album sounds as pristine as possible.
