All hands on deck as we load up our trusty cargo boat for another delivery across the big pond.
Listen up! This isn’t going to be just another walk in the park. We might face obstacles, we might run into struggle; if the engine holds up, we won’t be stranded but, remember, anything is possible…
As free as we will feel on the open water, it will give us plenty of time for self-reflection, time for our minds to wonder aimlessly and time to miss all of those close to us. However, we venture forth unafraid!
To make this journey a little smoother, we are going to need the perfect soundtrack. Ladies and gents, that soundtrack will be provided by none other than It’s Just Craig and our advance copy of their upcoming release Dark Corners.
Setting out into an overly polished and overly produced musical world, It’s Just Craig brings us back to the organic beauty of raw, high-caliber musicianship.
Recording all arrangements in one to two takes with almost all instruments playing simultaneously, It’s Just Craig have captured the essence and the energy of their studio sessions in this soon to be released Americana, Country Goth, Glitchy Indie Rock sonic novel.
Dark Corners tells the story of a cargo boat captain as he sets sail and faces the unknown, his frustration with being stranded within view of his destination, and the loneliness felt when separated from your loved one by a huge body of water.
The instrumentation is superb and unorthodox, the emotions are raw, the energy leaps from the speakers and infects you as a beautiful, well-crafted, stylistically unique wave of frequencies engages your senses from the very beginning of Chapter 1 (Intro) until the last notes of Chapter 8 (Leaving Now).

I have not heard anything like Dark Corners before. The melting pot of instrumentation, textured layers and sprinkled sonic nuances leave my mind unable to make comparisons or even label this music with a genre. Country Goth sounds pretty rad though!
You can listen to Goodnight below but Dark Corners will not be available until June 30th (2017).
Until then, connect with the band on their official website, FB, Twitter or IG.
You can hear more music on Soundcloud.
