Canadian creatives IRTH have a long history touring and playing music in the folk trio Dirty Grace, but now they are making their debut as the minimal yet powerful and engaging duo IRTH.
There are many unique things one could point out about this masterfully creative duo but the one thing that stands out the most is the willingness and inner strength which led this couple through years of an open relationship. Each of them allowing the experiences and emotions of love, [intense] jealousy, frustration, anger, lust and more to freely flow through and between them.
The result?
A uniquely inspired soundtrack fueled by the very emotions the majority of us avoid and run away from.
With it’s minimal but impactful soundscape, China Shop is fragile like the fine dining ware on display in homes and shops all over the world.
Imagine shelves with raw emotion on display. IRTH guide us through a gentle but longing aural experience which navigates the ebb and flow of love, lust and desire. The result is as haunting as it is seductive.
