Full Q&A along with links and music below.
Where are you from and how do You describe your style of music?
We are a band based all around the world, collaborating online. For example I am from India, and my fellow band mates are from other countries. Such a thing was thought of to be impossible before but the Post COVID world taught us the power of online collaborations & our band was formed with a shared love of 1960s-1990s rock, Country & Blues music from the USA.
How did you get here? As in, what inspired or motivated you to take on this journey through music and the music biz?
The Common thread amongst all of us band mates was that we loved the same kind of music. And I am a writer, who has written 5-6 books so the writing/creating bus is big in me. So we brought to life seven songs written by me over the years. As these comprised of different genres and the music felt to be in a state of constant motion, we named it flux, another word from my career in the Power Transformer Industry
How does your latest project compare/contrast with your previous release(s)? Were you setting out to accomplish anything specific, follow a specific theme, or explore different styles of creation?
As this is our first release, it doesn’t really compare with anything because everything I did before this was amateurish,. This is my first proper professional music project.
Name the biggest challenge you faced as a creative during these unprecedented? How did you adapt? How have you kept the creative fires burning during all this?
The biggest challenge is in finding audience because the kind of music which we write has very few takers as of today.
What was the last song you listened to?
Last song I listened to was ‘Whisky Blues’ by Aanchal Bordoloi
Which do you prefer? Vinyl? 8-tracks?Cassettes? CDs? MP3s? Streaming platforms?
Steaming Platforms! Because they provide the least friction to consumers of music
Where is the best place to connect with you and follow your journey?
