Full Q&A along with links and music below.
Where are you from and what style of music do you create?
We’re based out of Vancouver BC, Canada and we create rock music that has an energetic and slightly dancy vibe.
What led you down this path of music and what motivates you to keep going?
This particular collaboration of musicians, has a certain style of playing that paved a clear path for us to take musically. Creatively, we feel there is a chemistry that’s just starting to hit its stride and we could do this for a long time and love every minute of it.
How is the release of “Deconstruction of the Mind” different than previous ones? Were you trying to accomplish anything specific?
The release “Killing Time” is our debut EP, so not much to compare it to there. I think the goal when you release anything that you’ve worked hard on and spent a lot of time doing is to get people to hear it, dig it, and hopefully tell their friends.
Name one or two challenges you face as an indie musician in this over saturated, digital music age? How has technology helped you (since we know it does help)?
One challenge of the millennial age is keeping our listeners attention in this over saturated and over stimulated world. Technology has helped us create music and even birth this project. We all completed and recorded our parts for this album separately before ever having a single jam as a band.
What was the last song you listened to?
The What – Notorious B.I.G. feat Method Man – Ready To Die(1994)
Which do you prefer? Vinyl? CDs? MP3s?
Vinyl, it’s the most romantic way to listen to music.
What stop of the tour are you most excited about?
I haven’t played in a lot of these places we’re going to so I’m excited for all of them but it will be nice to have family come to the shows in New York, good times in that city.
Where is the best place to connect with you online and discover more music?
Anything else before we sign off?
Stay safe and wash your hands!
