Full Q&A along with links and music below.
Where are you from and what style of Music do you create? (In your own words, not necessarily in marketing terms or by popular genre classifications.)
I’m from New York and don’t think my music would be the way it is without New York! I don’t think I stick to one specific genre simply because I enjoy creating within every genre. I’d like to consider my music to be sophisticated pop simply because the core is pop but what’s surrounding it continuously evolves.
What led you down this path of music and what motivates you to stay the course?
What leads me down this road is my passion to create. I love creating music and sharing it with people. The idea of creating something from nothing amazes me every time.
How is “Replay” different than previous work you have done? Did you set out to accomplish anything specific?
Replay is different because of the songs aesthetic. This song follows a more EDM feel and is the perfect wind up to summertime. I didn’t envision it turning into this when I started it but as I let it breathe it formed into something fun.
Do you face challenges as an indie musician in a digital age? How has technology helped you (assuming it helps)?
Being a musician in the digital age is extremely powerful. I believe it only works to my benefit because of the speed in which I can share my music. If I create a track that inspires me today, I can put it out and share it in less than a second. Music is meant to be shared and being that it’s never been easier is mind-blowing.
Where can we connect with you online and discover more music?
Spotify and Apple Music are the two easiest places to listen to my tracks. I love talking to my listeners through Instagram and email so don’t be shy!
Anything else before we sign off?
All good.
