Mechanical Peaches – Forgotten
Mechanical Peaches started as Abhay Sampath’s solo project as a way to explore narrative in songwriting. As the songs began to grow, the solo project evolved into a full band and the music took on a life of its own.
Each player brings a unique musical background with varied influences from all areas of music. This musical melting pot is the contributing factor to the rich sound of Mechanical Peaches.
Forgotten is the closing track off Mechanical Peaches’ upcoming EP.
It’s a heavy, passionate song addressing a partner who is more interested in you physically than emotionally. This song is written from the moment you realize they don’t completely reciprocate your feelings, but instead of giving up, you accept that you’re not going to be remembered, but you’re still determined to make sure they remember what we do tonight.”
