Here’s Your Problem – Caller ID
Here’s Your Problem is mostly the work of two college buddies, Max Belz and Tom Paulus. Belz grew up in Iowa, listening to Jazz, playing the piano, and singing in harmony with his family from the Trinity Hymnal. Tom (guitar) was raised mostly Virginia and cut his teeth on a steady diet of rock’n’roll.
After college we both moved to Pasadena, CA for different reasons. We’ve been writing songs and doing house-shows here and there for about 6 years. This year we finally decided to make a proper EP, due out toward the end of 2016. Currently, our favorite themes are: Los Angeles, psychoanalysis, modernity, and women. We do this for ourselves, so the music is authentic. But we’re happy to finally have a chance to share our work.
We like simple harmonies and good lyrics.
