Sunhill – What A Drag

Sunhill consist of singer and guitarist Simon Nygren, guitarist Oscar Olofsson, drummer Jack Petersson and basist Henrik Björkvall. Most of us (all except Henrik) have played together in bands for 5 years under different names. Jack and Simon later met Henrik through school and we started Sunhill. We decided to strip our music down, get straight to the point, have fun, drink a couple of beers with friends and just write the best and most fun music for us, and hopefully that can trancelate to others.

We recorded and mixed the song and the rest of our EP, also called ‘What a Drag’, ourselves at Jack’s home. The lyrics aren’t really about anything in particular, it’s just alot of thoughts put together into one song, but I guess the main theme of the song is boredom, written with a bit of humor humor
