This isn’t The Impersonators first time gracing these pages. In fact, they’ve been on these pages multiple times packing a sonic punch of alternative rock vibes and melodically rich pop aesthetics which results in uplifting songs with a heavy dose of (radio friendly) replay value.
Needless to say, The Impersonators are one of those bands I enjoy keeping up with. It’s always a pleasant surprise when new music comes across my inbox.
Circus is no exception. Catchy guitar melodies set the tone and mood for a smooth rockin’ jam that tells the story of a disappointed lead character who decides to say goodbye to the mundane every day drudgery which has him viewing life as a little less than joyful.
Discussing the inspiration behind the new single the band states,
The initial inspiration for this tune came when I met this guy from Sussex, England. I did not know Sussex isn’t exactly thriving these days and he was dirt poor but blissfully happy and jazzed up about life. Then there was me, blessed with everything and still not being content. I felt slightly embarrassed.”

The Impersonators consistency for crafting really strong songs cannot be ignored!
