Even if you do not own or use the Maschine hardware, this $4.99 app is a killer deal. Being able to create and work on ideas on the move is one perfect way to keep your creativity in tip top shape.

One thing I meant to go more in depth about is that the Live Play feature allows you to record while manipulating the velocity (as opposed to recording every hit at the same volume). This is very handy for giving your tracks a live feel.
