Hunter Pistole‘s musical journey began in his early teens when he first began writing songs. After performing “Hey There Delilah” (Plain White T’s) to a packed crowd in junior high, Hunter knew a long term career in music was exactly what he wanted. It probably helped that he brought the packed house to their feet as he hit the last note of the song.

Hunter’s EP Don’t Runaway is a collection of five highly infectious, soul-infused pop jams which display not only his advanced vocal abilities but also his excellent decision making when it comes to the production of each track. In other words, Hunter knows how to select music that not only grabs listeners attention but also enhances and empowers his voice.

Hunter’s crisp, clear, powerful vocals shine on each of these five songs. Catchy hooks, relatable lyrics, and memorable melodies combine to create radio ready, R&B-esque, Pop singles which will appeal to a wide range of listeners.

I can’t choose a favorite song but Came Here For and Summertime Lovin’ would be top picks if I were forced to choose.
