To create this record Holley teamed up with veteran Nashville-based producer Chris Grainger (Wilco, Sixpence None The Richer, Switchfoot, Kopecky Family Band) and electro-pop singer/songwriter Kyle Andrews. Together the three of them created a five-song EP that incorporates some new electronic elements into Holley’s characteristically acoustic songs while still keeping her light and upbeat style, reminiscent of Ingrid Michaelson or Katie Herzig.
The idea of artistic evolution is what inspired the change of tone for this new project. “I hope to never do the same thing twice,” says Holley. “With Euphorics, I really wanted to explore something new and take a step outside my comfort zone.”
In addition to being a songwriter, Holley also owns and operates H. Maher Creative, a freelance graphic design boutique. At H. Maher Creative Holley focuses on album artwork, posters, weddings & events, merchandise, social media & blogs, branding, etc.
Music from Holley’s two previous EPs has been featured on Nashville’s independent radio station, Lightning 100, in ads for online fashion retailers like Birchbox and ModCloth, and as soundtrack to hundreds of wedding videos via The Music Bed.
