Highbeams deliver a highly infectious, energetic, pop-infused blend of charming and engaging folk rock. Formed in 2012, the group has released two full length albums and performed all over the Southeast alongside well known acts such as Vertical Horizon, Chase Bryant and Col Bruce Hampton. Their newest project, Keep Meaning It, is set for release on October 1st but you can listen to the lead single (Someday) right now.
Consisting of brothers Adam Pendlington (vox, guitar, bass) and Ian Pendlington (backing vox, cajon, piano) as well as Stephen Quinn (vox, bass, guitar, Highbeams is a trio of highly talented musicians who delivers a soothing, upbeat, uplifting wall of sound that easily appeals to a wide range of music listeners. The fact that their music could easily fit into a number of movies, shows or commercials servers as further testament to the contagious appeal of this trio’s positive vibes and danceable grooves.
Keep Meaning It, as a whole, is one of the most solid folk rock albums to come my way in a while. It’s high dose of pop appeal, rich melodies, moving harmonies, well crafted sonic palettes and energetic, uplifting nature collide in a way that is undeniably refreshing, addictively appealing and soulfully soothing.
Keep Meaning It will not be available until October 1st but the first single and acoustic guitar driven motivational jam Someday is now available!
