Receiving a lot of love and acclaim on their last two records, New York based Americana rockers Heathcote Hill have delivered a highly enjoyable listening experience on their latest album Save The Ones You Love.
Featuring vocalist Megan Porcaro Herspring (who has been compared to Susan Tedeschi, Natalie Merchant and Tracy Chapman), Heathcote Hill will immediately grab your attention. As you continue listening, you begin noticing the high caliber of musicality and song crafting that goes into each track.
What creative talents are behind these engaging sound beds?
Other members of Heathcote Hill include Bruce Rose on bass, John Keener on drums and Tom Nelson on guitar and piano. Their chemistry is undeniable.
Although this group of Americana rockers perform around NYC 4-6 times each year, they live in the studio and receive a lot of support from radio. Their previous album, Everlasting, had songs playlisted on 100+ AAA stations. If you are in the NYC area, I highly suggest watching their event calendar to catch them live.
I’m not able to choose a favorite song from the new album. With only 5 songs that are all radio-friendly, just take the time to listen to the entire track list. You won’t be disappointed.
